The brand new album of Donghae and Eunhyuk of the Korean boyband Super Junior, 《Oppa,Oppa》 was released in Japan yesterday (4th April), and had sailed to second place on the daily rankings of the Oricon Charts.

This single was specially released as a warm-up for Super Junior’s upcoming Super Show 4 World Tour which will be held at Japan on May 12 and 13. There were absolutely no promotional activities done prior to the release of this single in Japan, but still it had managed to achieve good results and was able to clinch second spot on the charts, showing the love of fans for Super Junior.

In order to commemorate the release of Donghae and Eunhyuk’s first single, they will also hold a commemorative activity at AX Hall, Shibuya, Tokyo this coming 11th of April. The stage performances of the single 《Oppa,Oppa》 is expected to bring them closer to the Japanese fans, and is being highly anticipated by the fans.

Following the success of Super Junior’s concert in Osaka in December last year, they will hold another concert in Tokyo in May this year. In addition to that, the tickets for their concert have been completely sold out, showing off their prowess in the box office.

The song 《Oppa,Oppa》 is the Japanese version of the song “떴다오빠” which was released by Donghae and Eunhyuk last December. The album also contains the Japanese version of the song “첫사랑”, 《First Love》, whose lyrics was written by Donghae himself.

The album sales for Super Junior’s 5th album ‘Mr. Simple’ exceeded 500,000 copies.
According to the Gaon chart announced on the 12th, Super Junior’s 5th album ‘Mr. Simple,’ which was released on August 3rd, sold a total of 502,830 copies by the end of March this year.

Especially, Super Junior’s record of half-million sales follows those set by Kim Gun Mo’s 8th album ‘Hestory,’ released in 2003, and TVXQ!’s 4th album ‘MIROTIC,’ released in 2008, and is meaningful in that it helps revitalize the depressed album market and increase the interest in KPOP all over the world.

Also, Super Junior’s 5th album had swept 1st place on various music charts not only in Korea, but also in Taiwan, Thailand and the Philippines. Super Junior’s ‘Mr. Simple’ has currently been holding the 1st place on Taiwan’s KKBOX chart for 34 consecutive weeks following ‘BONAMANA,’ which set the new record of 63 weeks at No.1.

In addition, Super Junior drew audiences totaling over 500,000 people through their three previous Asia tours.

Meanwhile, Super Junior became the first Korean group to hold a solo concert in Paris, France on April 6th and they are scheduled to hold ‘SUPER SHOW4’ in Shanghai, China on April 14th and Jakarta, Indonesia on April 28th and 29th.

Super Junior’s Ryeowook snaps a photo with Donghae and Sungmin

On May 10th, Super Junior‘s Ryeowook shared the photos he took with fellow members Donghae and Sungmin.

Along with the photos, Ryeowook wrote, “D-2 Super Show 4 at Tokyo Dome >< Pretending to be cute keke I wasn’t going to post these, but I have nothing else to upload ☞☜ Have a good day today,” along with “Pretend act 2. Let’s play Tokyo Dome ^^“.

Eunhyuk saw Ryeowook’s photo with Donghae and remarked, “Ah, those fake lips… yeah, you need to at least do that.” When he saw the additional photo taken with Sungmin, Eunhyuk hilariously responded, “Ah I don’t like either of you in this one.”

Followers shared their own thoughts saying, “So cute,” “Can’t wait to see you at the show,” and “So handsome.”

In related news, Super Junior’s performance at Tokyo Dome in Japan will mark the end of their world tour ‘Super Show 4′ as they have finished all their performances in Seoul, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, China, Thailand, France, Shanghai, and Indonesia.

Super Junior Tumbang Kelelahan Karena Konser 'Super Show 4'

WowKeren.com - Super Junior akhirnya menyelesaikan rangkaian tur konser "Super Show 4" yang sudah digelar mulai November tahun lalu. Konser di Jepang yang digelar 12-13 Mei lalu menjadi pamungkasnya.

Super Junior telah menggelar sejumlah konser di Seoul, Osaka, Taipei, Singapura, Macau, Bangkok, Paris, Shanghai dan Indonesia. Mereka hanya punya tanggungan satu konser lagi yang dipersembahkan khusus untuk ELF Korea Selatan. Konser encore itu bakal digelar 26-27 Mei depan di Olympic Gymnastics Arena.

Menjalani tur konser sejak tahun lalu hingga sekarang tentu menguras energi para personil. Khusus untuk konser di Jepang walau tidak ada insiden kecelakaan di atas panggung, tapi para personil mengaku sangat kelelahan. Hal ini mereka akui saat menghadiri jumpa pers "Super Show 4" di Jepang.

Selama empat jam, Super Junior menghibur ELF Jepang di Tokyo Dome. Di konser hari kedua (13/5), Choi Siwon ternyata sempat mengalami cedera punggung. Namun dia menahan rasa sakitnya di atas panggung demi fans. "Aku akan menikmatinya (rasa sakit) sampai mati sekalipun," kata Siwon.

Demikian juga Shindong. Dia merasa cukup kelelahan sampai ingin disuntik vitamin IV (intravenous vitamin). "Tubuhku mengatakan aku sudah sangat lelah, aku harus disuntik suplemen IV," kata Shindong. "Aku tidak bisa merasakan yang namanya lelah saat di atas panggung, tapi setelah konser selesai badanku sakit semua."

Ryeowook juga mengaku dirinya sampai mati rasa tidak bisa merasakan lelah saat manggung di hadapan ribuan fans. "Aku merasakan energi. Aku sangat senang sekali sampai tidak bisa merasakan kalau tubuhku sudah lelah atau tidak."

Personil termuda Super Junior, Kyuhyun, mengeluhkan rasa lelah yang sangat dirasakannya. "Aku sangat capek waktu konser. Untuk sekarang ini aku masih merasa kelelahan," kata Kyuhyun di depan wartawan.

Sungmin kemudian menambahkan, semua itu rela mereka tanggung demi memuaskan ELF. "Kami sudah mencoba berusaha melakukan yang terbaik untuk konser ini," kata Sungmin. (wk/dn)
